The graphic design industry definitely needs some kind of bar exam for people to work in this line of business. Bad design has always existed, of course, but I bet it wasn’t as big of a problem way back when since the tools they used then weren’t in the hands of everyone. Today any no-talent hack can download Photoshop and say they’re a graphic designer. That’s kinda like buying a set of tools and saying they’re a car mechanic.
