Sweden’s Vasaloppet, held the first Sunday in March, is the oldest, longest (90 km, ~56 miles) and largest cross-country ski race in the world. About 15,000 people race every year. My favourite part of it is this helicopter flyby they always do at the start, mainly because it looks like something out of BBC’s Planet Earth, just with humans instead of animals.

I recommend fullscreen and muting it (unless you know Swedish).
