The suitcase gramophone is real old school. The speaker is attached to the needle head, and it comes with a crank so no cords or batteries needed. Still works absolutely beautifully, even though it’s surely 50+ years old by now. But of course, in those days they built things to last, not built to last a few years so you have to buy a new one.
