It's a list!
“Hacking” Tumblr.
Actually succeeding.
Albeit rather poorly.
Yet, it works.
Go me.
If someone reblogged this, it'd probably look very odd.
Tumblr should add this as a feature.
Who do I talk to about that?

Damn you, format war.
I vowed not to go HD until the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD format war was settled, and it wasn’t too hard in the beginning when the players cost and arm and a leg and the dics almost as bad. Flash forward a couple of years, and I spot an HD-DVD player on post-Christmas sale at 50% off and going for just $200. At that price it’d almost be worth it, yet I have that nagging little voice in the...

Speaking of that..
..Tumblr should add “List” as an option, so you could have those in a more exciting (big) format than that below. Everyone loves making lists, everyone loves reading lists and lists fit perfectly with the whole brevity thing that is tumblin’.

Top Five LucasArts Adventure Games
1. Day of the Tentacle (1993) 2. The Secret of Monkey Island (1990) 3. Sam & Max: Hit the Road (1993) 4. Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge (1991) 5. The Dig (1995) It was truly the Golden Age of adventure gaming, possibly of all gaming.

A Piece of the Future
Got me an iPod touch for Christmas and it really is like holding a piece of the future in your hands. Even though I’d seen the photos and videos, it’s not until you own one you really understand how freaking cool they are. Okay, it’s not as cool as the iPhone, but iPhones are not available in my country nor would I be willing to pay that kind of money on a monthly basis to have...

Droolworthy
I held a Canon EOS 1D Mark III in my hands today with a 85mm f/1.2 lens attached to it and boy was it dreamy. Enormous too, not exactly a walk-around camera. Tried the new 40D as well, which I’d really love to get if not for the fact that I’ve only had my 400D since April.

Minor Annoyance
It’s a little annoying when you visit someone’s tumbler that is on it’s own domain and you don’t get those handy little “Follow” and “Reblog” icons. Not sure if they could be made to appear in any easy way, but I hope they will eventually.

Spamless
In the past week I’ve gone from receiving some 50 spams per day on average to nearly none whatsoever. And I haven’t done or changed a thing either. I guess my host has tricked out their spam filtering or something, very peculiar. Very effective too, it would seem.

White Christmas
Is Christmas really Christmas without snow? I can’t even imagine how depressing Christmas must be living where there is none.

Beat me to it!
Someone has apparently just released a new, more advanced Tumblr widget for us Mac users. Haven’t tried it out just yet, but it looks promising with more options than the past widgets. Could look a bit more exciting visually, though.

Realizing that the girl David Duchovny just had graphic sex with on Californication is the same girl that used to play the youngest daughter on The Nanny rates about a 12 out of 10 on the “Weirded Out” scale.

It's pants.
I am by no means a particularly fashionable person, but why would anyone ever think that wearing sweatpants outside of the home or gym is attractive? It just really isn’t, no matter how “Juicy” your behind is.

Inquisiting minds want to know
Why isn’t the brilliant Inquisitor search plugin available for Firefox in addition to Safari? The same could be said for the equally brilliant PicLens plugin, also only available for Safari so far if you’re on a Mac. It’s a fantastic way of quickly browsing galleries on Flickr.

Redesign
I seriously need to redesign this Tumblr blog. Maybe I’ll do it this weekend. It’s just a little thought and CSS, after all. I really want to make a better Mac widget for Tumblr too, the current one is too basic. I’d also like to make a proper AIR app out of that too, but maybe I’ll start slow and make the Mac widget first, then graduate. Or maybe not.
